Where these numbers come from
Bands are compiled from publicly observable market ranges for each region at each comfort tier, per person, on a return journey originating in Ireland. They describe what a trip of that shape has typically cost, so that you can judge whether a plan is realistic before you commit time to it.
What moves the number
- The month, through a seasonality index held per region.
- The comfort tier, applied to accommodation, ground transport and experiences.
- The cabin implied by that tier, applied separately to the flights.
- Party size, with children counted at 70 percent of an adult.
- Insurance by the week, and documentation advisory per person, only when switched on.
What it deliberately excludes
- Airline and supplier surcharges that are set after the date of enquiry.

How current it is
